I’ve been amazed. I don’t know why I’ve been amazed, but I have. People can’t accept that Google can easily detect useless links and render the link juice from those links totally useless. It’s getting to the point now where Google is even dropping the PR of sites that are obviously selling text links. Ouch!
However, there are a few people (besides Luke and I) who are asking the same questions that Luke and I have.
- Why does no one care about secure text links?
- Why are people still happily buying Text Link Ads links when they are so easily detectable?
- Why is no one buying links for the long haul?
- Why is it so hard to get a link in the body?
