The SEO world seams slow to abandon their tired / rotting system of clustered text links in navigation. However, Luke stumbled upon a few MIT caliber SEO dudes who seem to be asking the same questions that we are. Why does no one care about link security?

Since May 2007, I’ve been working nearly nonstop on Text Link Center. I’ve had to learn php, MySQL and the worst of them all (scary music here)…JAVASCRIPT!!! . Why have I crawled through 500 yards of sewage like Shawshank Redemption? Because of the SICKENING state of text links! This blog is all about why I created Text Link Center.

I’ve got news for you. Google and detect paid links and so can we. We are proud to announce the release of the Text Link Center Paid Link Detector.

Many people have not taken the time to consider what it really means to slap 10 links in the footer. They simply think “links are good” and people will be willing to pay for those links. They never consider that their own rankings may be in danger!

We are formally declaring war on Text Link Ads. We feel that their 2003 system for buying and selling links is completely unacceptable when Google is actively penalizing sites for buying and selling links. Text Link Center is simply a better system.

Our initial BETA version of Text Link Center is ready to go. We are looking for link sellers who would like to take part in the only secure system for selling links. Our intention is to keep Text Link Center absolutely free for the buyer and the seller.
